salam and greetings..

actually i wanted to post the iptables script i wrote for my laptop 'vulture'.. but unfortunately i'm not done with it yet. sigh. when its done, i promise i post it here. anyway, it seems ramadhan is going smoothly. not much health problem yet except i always get stomach pain when i do my 'open fast'. no 'open fast' gathering so far... but i think by the end of October it would surely come.

i watched bourne supremacy and resident evil: apocalypse recently. way nice. if you havent watch both yet, please do so.. (if your budget allows you to of course!). what i was thinking todo is watch the first movie and then watch the second one straightaway.. especially resident evil... hehe.. (seriously its not that scary.. but its really disturbing!)

it seems there is some problem with TimeNet's dialup service for Penang. read about the annoucement here. no wonder my girlfriend can't access the internet since monday until today! lucky she can still check her TimeNet mail.. :)

apple release 2 important stuff recently; the first is the Tiger Early Starter Kit (for those who have extra cash and just cant wait for the official release.. or so much into developing new apps!) check out Tiger's overview here.

SystemRescueCd is a linux livecd for repairing system and data after a crash. it also provide an easy way to carry out admin task on your computer; creating & editing partitions and it includes with a bunch of system utilities (parted, partimage, fstools, editors, midnight commander, network tools, etc). the cd supports file systems such as ext2/ext3, reiserfs, xfs, jfs, vfat, ntfs, iso9660 as well as samba and nfs.
