hi hi...

i've been reading here and there (i mean forums).. and many people saying that alot of *nix programs wont work well with linux kernel 2.6. the best thing is that i'm using it since i got vulture. yeah.. i notice a bunch of programs cant be compiled. but i thought it was something wrong with the package that i download. not the kernel i'm using. i'm still wondering whether i should revert back to linux kernel 2.4 or just used whatever that i got now.. (the problem that i had is not that serious, since the programs that i'm always using works well).

anyone having the same problem? i think so. but none of my close friends saying it. do they compile from source anyway? i know some of them don't. yeah.. i understand. i get lazy also sometimes. imagine in order to make a program to work, you have to install 5 to 6 other packages (usually libraries or additional supports that you WANT!). unless it end up working well and you are using the program, its very frustrating because it ends with some annoying ERROR! messages on the console and you realised that you just wasted 2-3 hours just to compile the program.

i'm going to watch takedown after writing this (its a movie based on the real event of the capture of kevin mitnick). yeah i know.. i got it a year ago but i haven't really watch it. that is the truth! sigh. that shows that how my room gave a positive impact on me. my privacy have RETURNED. don't worry i'm working @ 1pm tomorrow and sleeping a bit late wouldn't cause much harm..
